Alkarim Devani is co-founder of mddl and RNDSQR, where his passion for design and innovation drives his vision of redefining what it means to be a developer. Alkarim’s work building RNDSQR has garnered national and international recognition. In addition, Alkarim is a pursuing his Doctorate at the University of Calgary and is also an active member of the community and development industry.

He regularly contributes his time to numerous events throughout the country and currently serves as a board member for the Calgary Housing Company. Alkarim is currently in the next stage of his career with mddl, where the organization is a finalist in CMHC’s round five housing supply challenge and he is using his in-depth experience with middle housing to help empower the impact of gentle density housing across Canada.
