Mark Erickson is an Architectural Designer and cofounder of Studio North. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Calgary, focusing on drawing and sculpture. Mark earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University, where he received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s Honour Roll Certificate in 2011.
He has worked in architectural offices in London, Vancouver, and Halifax and taught architectural technology at the University of The Gambia in West Africa. His international experience has broadened his understanding of how architecture is influenced by culture, climate, and geography. Mark offers mentorship and guidance in architecture and design, helping others understand how design shapes spaces to respond to both people and place.
